Printmaking on the Hudson

In this hands-on experience, you’ll learn the history & basics of printmaking and create a few of your own original artworks! There is no limit, but most guests complete three pieces in the time given. The type of art we’ll be making is called “monotype prints”.

We’ll get creative, sip on something fun, and enjoy gorgeous views of the Hudson River as ships sail by! We’ll finish with a group “critique”, all in good fun. 

No experience is needed for this class. If you are experienced, that’s great too! We are simply printmaking and having a great time creating and experimenting together. 

You’ll also learn some history about the Hudson Valley region and the old Regal Bag Factory that houses my studio.

Things to Note:

• Accessibility: One flight of stairs is required to access studio. 

• I can accommodate up to four people per class.

• Ages 12+

• All materials we work with are non-toxic. 

• Wear clothes you don’t care too much about! We shouldn’t get ink on us, but it does happen sometimes. (Your hands WILL get inky! We will wash up but you might be stained for a day or two).
